Funding Opportunities in the Office of the Executive Dean
All of the grants and awards programs described below are designed to support the goals of the Federation of the Colleges of the Arts and Sciences (ASC) with emphasis on the following priorities:
- Encouraging and facilitating interdisciplinary research, teaching, and community partnerships.
- Amplifying ASC efforts to operate more dynamically with a global perspective and in global arenas.
- Enhancing efforts across the arts and sciences to build and sustain a dynamic and diverse campus environment.
- Encouraging and facilitating efforts to enhance the visibility and the national and international impact of the arts and sciences.
All of the programs listed are supported by a limited pool of available funds in the Office of the Executive Dean (OED), drawn from a combination of general funds and development funds. The categories for support include the following:
