Rebecca Haidt is Associate Professor of Spanish and Portuguese, specializing in Iberian Studies. Her research focuses on eighteenth- and nineteenth-century Spanish cultural studies. Areas of inquiry include body, gender, urban imaginaries, early photography, eighteenth- and nineteenth-century visual cultures, urban studies, material culture, costume and clothing histories, costumbrismo, popular theatre, narrative, exchange networks, and print cultures.
