Arts and Humanities Inaugural Lecture: “It’s About Genre”

Angela Brintlinger, Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures, Ohio State, will give a lecture titled “It’s About Genre”.

Brintlinger has worked on biography, the short story, the novel, plays, poetry, and the essay. She has translated essays, dramatic scenes, poetry, literary biography and scholarly articles. She is fascinated by the epistolary and the diary forms, and has written letters, reviews, essays, and blog posts. In her inaugural lecture, she will look at the ways in which the idea of genre has affected her writing and thinking about language and the word. RSVP
