The School of Music presents a family-friendly bassoon concert to benefit the Mid-Ohio Foodbank at 8 pm Thursday, March 28, in Hughes Hall Auditorium, 1899 College Rd. Undegraduate and graduate bassoon players will perform favorites like The Muppet Theme and classics such as the Mozart Bassoon Concerto. Young audience members can ask questions and look at a bassoon close up during intermission.
In place of admission, donations will be accepted for the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. Most-needed items include chili with beans, canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned meat, soup with vegetables, and peanut butter. For more, go to music.osu.edu.
