The conference will take place on Thursday, May 10, 1-9 pm and Friday, May 11, 9 am to 4:15 pmKeynote Address: My Life as an Undocumented Immigrant by Jose Antonio VargasThursday, May 10 at 7:30 pm, Saxbe Auditorium, Ohio State Moritz College of Law.Despite all his achievements Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas could not escape the dark shadow of his true ‘identity.’ He was an undocumented immigrant. Forced to frequently lie to friends and colleagues, he avoided close relationships so no one would ask too many questions, and he could not travel abroad due to his illegal passport. Finally in the summer of 2011, 18 years after arriving in America, Vargas decided he was done running.
