The Department of Design presents its 2013 Design Exhibition Tuesday, April 23, through Friday, May 3, at the Urban Arts Space in the historic Lazarus building, 50 West Town St. in downtown Columbus. The annual exhibition features the senior thesis projects of graduating students from each of the three programs – industrial design, interior design, and visual communication design. This year, for the first time, the exhibition will also include projects from select masters of fine arts (MFA) students from the design research and development, and digital animation and interactive media concentrations.
The exhibition attracts Ohio State Design alumni, members of the local design community, and the friends and families of the graduating students. Two receptions will occur. A special evening for design professionals is Tuesday, April 30, 5-8 pm. Friends and family night is Wednesday, May 1, 5-8 pm. Parking is available near the Urban Arts Space, in the Columbus Commons Garage, southeast of the corner of Town and High Streets.
