Enemies of State: An evening with members of the Revolutionary Action Movement

September 26, 2013
All Day
AAAS Community Extension Center, 905 Mt. Vernon Ave.

Event Host: Department of African-American and African Studies

Be part of a rare opportunity to meet some of America’s most controversial activists Dr. John H. Bracey Jr. and Dr. Muhammad Ahmad of the Revolutionary Action Movement (RAM). Sometimes referred to as “Enemies of the State,” the former members will discuss their involvement in the Revolutionary Action Movement. The Enemies of the State program highlights activists from the 60s and 70s and offers an intimate setting in which members of The Ohio State University community and the larger Columbus community have the opportunity to talk with some of the country’s most notorious activists, people to whom society owes a debt of gratitude as they were men and women who dedicated themselves to pressuring America to live up to its highest ideals as expressed in such sacrosanct documents as the Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.

A question and answer session will follow.

This event is free and open to the public.
