The Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration key note speaker is Ilan Stavans.Stavans is Lewis-Sebring Professor in Latin American and Latino Culture at Amherst College. He has published dozens of books, including recently the edited All the Odes (2012) of Pablo Neruda,¡Muy Pop!: Conversations on Latino Popular Culture (2013) co-authored with Frederick Luis Aldama, and A Most Imperfect Union: A Contrarian History of the United States with cartoonist Lalo Alcaraz (2014).For more information, visit the LASER website.
