Institute for Korean Studies Film Screening: "Repatriation"
Event Host: Institute for Korean Studies
The Institute for Korean Studies is hosting their second Korean documentary film event, a screening of “Repatriation.” A Q&A with Director Kim Dong-won will follow the showing. This documentary, a 10-year making by Dong-won, is a film featuring the story of two former North Korean spies and their release from a South Korean prison after three decades. “Repatriation” is a masterful documentation that features the subjects’ highly politicized lives torn between their home and home away from home.
This event is free.
