Interdisciplinary Seminar in Literacy Studies: Literacy and Dis/Ability

The Interdisciplinary Seminar in Literacy Studies for Graduate Students, or GradSem as it has come to be known, formed in 2005. Participation is open to all students. The theme of the meeting on April 3 is literacy and disability. Disability studies has prompted reconsideration of routinized methods for teaching and evaluating “competent” literacy, resulting in new processes and practices in the classroom.Lunch will be provided by LiteracyStudies@OSU. Students interested in attending should contact Sean Kamperman.
