As part of the Latino Buckeye Dinner, Ilan Stavans will speak on "Growing up Mexican-Jewish Latino."Ilan Stavans is a Lewis-Sebring Professor in Latin American and Latino Culture at Amherst College. He has published dozens of books, including recently El Illuminado: A Graphic Novel (2012) with Steve Sheinkin, ¡Muy Pop! Conversations on Latino Popular Culture (2013) coauthored with Frederick Luis Aldama, and A Most Imperfect Union: A Contrarian History of the United States with cartoonist Lalo Alcaraz (2014).For more information visit the LASER website.
