Leonard Smith, Frederick B. Artz Professor of History at Oberlin College, will speak on "The Paris Peace Conference of 1919 and the History of Sovereignty". Smith, a visiting scholar at the Mershon Center, will discuss his research on the locus and attributes of sovereignty and the peace conference that sought to end World War I.
