Lilia Fernandez, Assistant Professor of History and affiliated faculty member in Latino/a Studies, will discuss her new book, Brown in the Windy City: Mexicans and Puerto Ricans in Postwar Chicago, on Friday, November 30, from 4:00-5:30 in 168 Dulles Hall.
She will be introduced by Hasan Jeffries, Associate Professor of History.
This event is part of the DISCO (Diversity and Identity Studies Collective at OSU) Research and Creative Activity Series, which provides a forum for showcasing the new work of OSU faculty and graduate students on issues of race, class, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and/disability. It is open to the OSU community as well as the general public.
