Mark Lawrence, associate professor, history, at University of Texas-Austin, will speak about "The Uses of Vietnam War: U.S. Policy and the Vietnam Analogy". Lawrence is author of two books on the Vietnam War and editor of books on the Cold War and environmental history. He is working on a study of U.S. policymaking toward the developing world in the 1960s.
