“Waging Peace,” a panel discussion on the sources of military conflict and non-violent strategies to promote peace, will take place Tuesday Sept. 9. Moderated by Fred Andrle, former host of WOSU’s Open Line, the event will examine the impact of democracy, human rights, and trade on international peace-building; explore the impact of U.N. peacekeeping; and discuss grassroots peace and anti-intervention movements.
