The Bipartisan Policy Center’s (BPC) Commission on Political Reform (CPR) will hold its third in a series of National Conversations on American Unity in partnership with the Ohio State University and USA TODAY in Columbus, OH.
CPR commissioners Secretary Dan Glickman and former Representatives Charles Gonzalez and Henry Bonilla will be joined by former Governor of Ohio Ted Strickland, Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted, Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie* and others for a conversation on election reform moderated by USA TODAY's Washington Bureau Chief Susan Page.
The event will convene current and former elected officials and election experts for a town hall meeting and panel discussion exploring issues related to elections such as redistricting, primary reform, and resolving disputed elections. With Ohio as the "center of it all" for electoral politics, there's no better place to debate the pressing challenges to our electoral process.
Joining the town hall will be Robert Bauer and Ben Ginsberg, co-chairs of the Presidential Commission on Election Administration. This commission focuses on promoting the efficient administration of elections in order to ensure that all eligible voters have the opportunity to cast their ballots without undue delay and to improve the experience of voters facing other obstacles in casting their ballots.
