This program, which provides 6 regular academic credits in History, is an organized and systematic exploration of ancient-modern settlements and their natural resources, with a focus on historical, archaeological, and ecological methods. It takes place on the beautiful and unspoiled island of Kythera, which played an important role in international trade and interaction from prehistory up to the present.Professor Gregory has been teaching OSU students in Greece for over 30 years.  The program is open to  undergraduate and graduate students alike.  Experiences in such programs can provide a good basis for undergraduate research and excellent training for graduate students, whether they wish to ultimately do archaeological research or not. 122 Oxley Hall College of Arts and Sciences asccomm@osu.edu America/New_York public
