a site-specific journey through the mind of a building
created and directed by Stephan Koplowitz

Sullivant’s Travels, a site-specific promenade performance work by director/choreographer Stephan Koplowitz, will serve as the centerpiece for the Grand Opening Celebration of Sullivant Hall. Eleven simultaneous performance elements will feature artists and performers from the Department of Dance, School of Music, and Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design (ACCAD), with a cast of more than 35 Ohio State dance MFA and BFA students. Activating 13 spaces within Sullivant Hall, and referencing the architecture, history and current use of the building, the event will allow audiences to experience interactive new media elements, aerial performance and audience participation/immersive environments.

The performance will take place on Saturday, September 20 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. The event is free.
