| ASC Diversity Enhancement Advisory Council |
A Diversity Enhancement Advisory Council was established in January 2005 to advise the Executive Dean on recruitment, retention, curriculum, climate, operations, and all diversity-related issues that may affect the high performance of faculty, staff, and students within the Colleges of the Arts and Sciences. |
| ASC Faculty Leadership Committee |
The Faculty Leadership Committee advises the Executive Dean on key issues, e.g., the allocation of common funds within the arts and sciences, research investment, curricular issues, strategic planning for the arts and sciences, issues affecting the welfare and professional development of faculty in the arts and sciences, as well as any other matters for which the Executive Dean might seek advice. |
| ASC Faculty Senate |
The ASC Faculty Senate is charged with formulating policy of the faculty of the Colleges of the Arts and Sciences in matters of common interest, as permitted by Faculty Rules 3335-5-26, 3335-5-27, and 3335-5-28. In addition, the Senate provides a forum for the discussion of other matters of common interest to the Faculty of the Colleges of the Arts and Sciences. |
| ASC Staff Advisory Committee |
Our mission is to address issues of importance to ASC staff and make recommendations to the executive dean, build community among ASC staff, and facilitate communication within the collective Colleges of the Arts and Sciences. |
| Technology Planning Advisory Committee |
This committee is charged with recommending to the executive dean strategies, mechanisms, and processes designed to enable and enhance the uses of technology across all areas of the ASC and helping to create and implement short- and long-term technology investment plans that address the common technological concerns of the five colleges and the arts and sciences offices. |
