Spotlight on Jacqueline Farthing Galvin
Jacqueline Farthing Galvin (BA, journalism, 1981) hails from Canfield, Ohio and currently resides in Tampa, Florida. She began her career by accident as a fill-in writer and photographer for her high school newspaper.
Following graduation from Ohio State, Galvin worked for CompuServe Inc. as an editor until relocating to Tampa where she worked in various radio and sales capacities. She has been involved in numerous professional writing organizations over the years giving her the opportunity to hone her skills as an editor, presentation specialist and professional speaker.
She has published over 100 works. A Tease of Murder is her first full-length novel set in Florida and England. The second in the five-part series, The Croquet Club Murders, is underway and set on historic Useppa Island, off the west coast of Florida.
“My experience at Ohio State was always changing,” said Galvin. “I was fortunate to have internship opportunities and experience in my field -- all the things I took from Ohio State forward allowed me to be where I am today.”
Galvin is currently an expert author for EzineArticles, a member of Bizymoms.com and has been chosen as the biographer for an upcoming international life story. In addition to the Tucker and Reggie mystery series, she is also writing her first romance novel.

“I am fortunate and proud to be able to say I am a graduate of The Ohio State University.”
