Need to spread your business name but are low on funds? Learn (and share!) creative ways to get to your customers' attention for with little to no money with Toni Johnson, Special Programs Coordinator and a Certified Business Advisor for the Ohio Small Business Development Center (SBDC). RSVP for the workshop.The Ohio State University’s Lawrence and Isabel Barnett Center for Integrated Arts and Enterprise, Mosaic Education Network, Fisher College of Business Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Institute, The STEAM Factory, Creative Control Fest, and Avanza Business Solutions propose the ARTrepreneur Workshop Series (AWS), a two-month summer professional development program for established and aspiring arts-based entrepreneurs among Ohio State students and the greater Columbus adult community. By utilizing the expertise and research skills of community business leaders and business and art professors, we are able to determine how to best meet the career needs of students who seek to use their craft for entrepreneurial success in these changing economic times.AWS addresses the following needs:Building Networks: A summer cohort of current and aspiring arts-based business ownersAcquiring Business Skills: Work with local and national business experts to execute marketing tactics, product pricing, grow peer relationships, manage finances and learn business acumen.Time and Space: AWS provides constructed time and space to focus on business needs to support career and economic success.
