Short Description: The Criminal Justice Research Center (CJRC) presents Dr. Barry Feld, Centennial Professor of Law, University of Minnesota, for the 2016 Institute for Excellence in Justice Seminar. He will lecture on "Real Interrogation: What Happens When Cops Question Kids." Professor Feld will be addressing three policy issues-procedural safeguards for youths, time limits for interrogations and mandatory recordings of interrogations.
