Organized by Mitchell Rose, associate professor in the Department of Dance, this program of vibrant, award-winning shorts showcases the latest fusions of filmmaking and dance from around the world. Among the selections, see Timecode, winner of the Palme d'Oraward at this year's Cannes Film Festival, which is Spanish director Juanjo Jimenez' story of two parking lot attendants’ flirtation via security cameras. Watch Rose's own Exquisite Corps, the viral phenomenon in which 42 American contemporary choreographers link together on a chain love letter to dance. In all, 14 films will be screened.
See Dance @ 30FPS, a screening w/ @osudance of the latest fusions of filmmaking and dance, on Feb. 9 #ASCDaily
Co-sponsored by the Department of Dance and Wexner Center for the Arts. The performance is free. For more information visit the Department of Dance.
