The Interdisciplinary Seminar in Literacy Studies for Graduate Students, or GradSem as it has come to be known, formed in 2005. The group meets monthly for lunch, provided by LiteracyStudies@OSU, and a student-organized program and discussion. The meeting on Friday, March 4 focuses on literacy in digital media. Today’s new technologies have made multimodal production central to many academic and civic activities.
