The Museum of Biological Diversity (MBD) holds its 12th Open House on April 23, free and open to the public. This year's theme is Living Colors: an exploration of the role of color in Nature. Visitors will get a behind-the-scenes view of our world-class collections of insects and mites, plants, fishes, molluscs, birds, mammals and animal sounds. See your voice and learn about digital audio software. Discover what real DNA looks like. Hands-on activities for adults and children of all ages, including the Arthropod Petting Zoo, Seedling Planting, Bugs-in-Goo, the Bug Drawing Station and more. Meet the faculty, staff and students that study the flora and fauna of Ohio and the world.
