Short Description: This two-day event offers Ohio State students from a variety of programs the chance to participate in a collaborative, real-time, interdisciplinary simulation of how government leaders address national security issues. Participating students are limited to those enrolled in the sponsoring courses, but faculty are welcome to come observe any part of the event.
This two-day event offers Ohio State students from a variety of programs the chance to participate in a collaborative, real-time, interdisciplinary simulation of how government leaders address national security issues. Participating students are limited to those enrolled in the sponsoring courses, but faculty are welcome to come observe any part of the event.
In addition, a keynote lunch Friday at noon is open to the entire Ohio State community. The keynote speaker will be alumna Chief Judge Colleen McMahon, the Chief Judge of one of the nation's most important courts, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York (S.D.N.Y.), based in Manhattan. Chief Judge McMahon will share her thoughts on law and leadership generally, and in connection with national security issues. A buffet lunch will be served.
