Leigh Royden, professor, MIT, American Geophysical Union fellow, Geological Society of America Donath medalist and European Geophysical Union Stephan Mueller medalist, will present “Subduction, double subduction and the ultra-fast convergence of India and Eurasia.” Dr. Royden studies large-scale continental deformation through quantitative geophysical modeling at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
