Sarah Snyder, assistant professor of history at American University, will speak on "A Little More Dictatorship: Balancing Anti-Communism and Human Rights in South Korea" at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at the Mershon Center for International Security Studies, 1501 Neil Ave. Her talk will explore the extent to which American concerns about human rights violations in South Korea influenced U.S. policy toward that country.Read more and register at the Mershon Center.
