Arts and Sciences GATA Winners

The winners of the 40th annual Graduate Associate Teaching Award have been announced. The 2012 winners are: Jarrett Anderson, French and Italian; Leila Ben-Nasr, English; Lindsay Bernhagen, Comparative Studies; Bora Bosna, Mathematics; Sara Cline, Molecular Genetics; Jim Collier, Communication; Casaundra Harbaugh, Psychology; and Adam Stier, English.

The Graduate Associate Teaching Award (GATA) is Ohio State's highest recognition of the exceptional teaching provided by graduate students. Approximately 3,000 graduate students teach as graduate teaching associates at Ohio State each year, and 10 are honored as GATA winners by the university community. Each winner receives a $1,500 award.This year, 106 graduate students were nominated and 71 eligible nominees.
