Design Distinguished Alumni Lecture Thursday, October 18
The Department of Design hosts its Distinguished Alumni Lecture with Tom Ockerse, BFA visual communication design 1963, on Thursday, October 18, at 7 pm in 100 Mendenhall Laboratory.
Ockerse earned an MFA from Yale University, and has taught at the Rhode Island School of Design since 1971, where he served as head of the graphic design department from 1973 to 1993. He attended Ohio State on a full athletic scholarship, and was a member of the 1962 NCAA championship men's swim team.
