Twenty Students Receive Fergus Scholarship Awards
Twenty Ohio State students from the Departments of Art and Design have received a Fergus Scholarship Award, and their work will be spotlighted in the related exhibition February 2-23 in the Swing Space Gallery, 1556 North High St. in the Gateway complex. This is the 20th year of the annual scholarship and exhibition.
Award recipients are chosen by a jury of faculty from Art, Design, and Art Education. The exhibition is co-sponsored by the Fergus Family Fund, College of Arts and Sciences, and the Swing Space Gallery.
Award winners include graduate students Michael Ambron (Horsham, PA), Leah Frankel (Philadelphia), Hansoo Ha (Seoul, Korea), Anne Keener (Columbus), Monika Laskowska (Bydgoszcz, Poland), Peter Luckner (Akron, OH), Ashley Neukamm (Apopka, FL), Sarah O’Donnell (Philadelphia), Chris Purdie (Pleasant Grove, UT), Keith Simpson (Columbus), and Ryland Wharton (Columbus).
Undergraduate students are Kara Gut (North Olmstead, OH), Jade Osenbaugh (Van Wert, OH), Rachael Anderson (Pickerington, OH), Joel Atkinson (Delta, OH), Catherine Bullock (Broadview Heights, OH), Nathan Klein (Newark, OH), William Koone (Dublin, OH), Saegan Moran (Visalia, CA), and Xiaoteng Shi (China).
