Graduate Student International Travel Grants
General Focus: to encourage the international travel of graduate students in connection with their dissertation research.
Deadline: Applications may be submitted at any time during the academic year.
Application Process: Individual students in the arts and sciences may apply for International Travel Grants in support of dissertation research online. Information provided should:
- Indicate funding status (whether the student is a recipient of previous OED funding for international travel).
- Provide a short description of the research project and the value added by the international travel in support of the project.
- Provide a detailed budget.
- Indicate sources of matching funding (fellowship, departmental grant, external funding, personal savings, etc.).
- Have the graduate advisor send an e-mail endorsement of your project to the director of student and alumni programs.
Submission Process: Please e-mail the International Travel Grant form and any supporting documents to ascopportunities@osu.edu.

Selection Process: With a completed application, grants are awarded on a first come, first served basis until all funds are expended.
Funding: The expectation is that this fund will support approximately 20 students at $1,000 each in matching funds.
