ARTSSCI 5194: Personal Wellness and Mental Health (Group Studies)

The College of Arts and Sciences and faculty from the Department of Psychology are offering ARTSSCI 5194: Personal Wellness and Mental Health during the autumn 2021 semester. Through this 1-credit, distance learning course, students will be introduced to a variety of evidence-based strategies for managing stress, warding off/combatting anxiety and depression, and promoting personal wellness. To learn these strategies, students will be asked to try them out and explore how they can use them in their own lives. The course aims to provide students with a psychological toolkit that they can rely on in facing a wide variety of challenges as they progress through their university experience and into the years that follow. This course is open to all Ohio State undergraduate and graduate students with no prerequisites.
