Seeking Assistance with your Job Search?

The Arts and Sciences Center for Career and Professional Success offers a variety of services and resources to help with your job search.  This is a benefit to you as a recent graduate of our college, so please take advantage of our resources!

In addition, you may wish to schedule an appointment with Career Counseling and Support Services to discuss how to efficiently and effectively execute your job search. The service is available to alumni for two sessions up to one semester past graduation. If you are seeking assistance with your job search after this you can contact the Lhota Office of Alumni Career Management.

Attend Events Sponsored by the Center

The Center for Career and Professional Success organizes a variety of workshops, information sessions, employer visits and career fairs.  These events are open to recent graduates and we welcome your participation. To see a full listing of center events visit our Events page.

Networking Using Alumnifire

Alumnifire is an online professional networking and mentoring tool for Ohio State alumni, students and staff to exchange industry expertise and career advice. Similar to LinkedIn, but with a social slant, alumni and students can connect for informational interviews, career advice or job shadowing opportunities. Get connected with Alumnifire and join this powerful Buckeye network.

For questions or additional information feel free to contact the Bill and Susan Lhota Office of Alumni Career Management at 614-292-3314 or 800-635-8944.

Share Information about Your New Employer

This allows the center to identify the companies and organizations that are actively hiring from the Arts and Sciences.

Contact asccareer@osu.edu and share your name, major, graduation date, the organization with whom you are employed, your position title, and how you found out about the opportunity (e.g. Handshake).

For more information about how to get involved with the Arts and Sciences Center for Career and Professional Success, please email or call Randy Dineen (614-688-4522). Arts and Sciences alumni are encouraged to visit the College of Arts and Sciences' VolunteerMatch website to find volunteer opportunities from our Center and from departments across the college and to join Alumnifire, an online professional networking and mentoring tool for Ohio State alumni, students and staff.
