The career fairs below are sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences Career Success Office. All students, regardless of major, are welcome and encouraged to attend. Spring Career Fair 2020 will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 11:30am until 4:30pm. Employer registration is now open! Contact us to participate in this year's event! 

Information for Students

The Ohio State University Spring Career Fair is an annual job and internship fair held during Spring Semester. The event is open to all current Ohio State University students and recent graduates and provides an opportunity for students to network with employers and learn about internship and career opportunities. The event will be held in two venues in the Ohio Union: The Grand Ballroom and the Performance Hall.

Attending employers recruit across a broad range of disciplines. There will be a large number of private sector companies recruiting for business and technical functions such as communications, business analysis, logistics, retail management, general management, graphic design, human resources, marketing, sales, financial planning, and other related areas.

In addition there are opportunities for science and technology students in areas such as laboratory based research and development in medical and industrial settings, as well as computer science and engineering roles.

Federal and State government agencies will also be well represented offering opportunities in administration, fiscal management, technology, diplomacy, and law enforcement and security related functions.

Advanced research via this website is recommended to determine if a particular employer of interest will be in attendance.

Attending employers seek to fill full-time, entry level positions as well as summer internships.

No pre-registration or RSVP for the Spring Career Fair is required.

  • Current Students: A valid BuckID is required to enter the fair on the day of the event.
  • Recent Graduates: We welcome you to the event and request that you drop off a copy of your resume at the registration desk upon arrival

9:00 am to 11:00 am = Check-in and Set-up
11:30 am to 4:30 pm = Career Fair
12:30 pm to 2:00 pm = Lunch
4:30 pm to 5:00 pm = Teardown

Wednesday, January 22, 2020 - The Ohio Union

7:30am to 10:00am = Breakfast
8:00am to 4:30pm = Interview Day
4:30pm to 5:00pm = Teardown

Lunch cards are provided on Interview day for registered employer contacts.

Interviews must be completed by 4:30pm.


Target Attendees
The Ohio State University Spring Career Fair welcomes all Ohio State students and recent graduates. It is, however, primarily marketed to undergraduate students from the following colleges (click the links to see related majors):

  • The College of Arts and Sciences
  • The Fisher College of Business
  • The College of Education and Human Ecology

Register for the Event
Corporate I: 50 or more employees - $625.00
Corporate II: fewer than 50 employees - $275.00
Nonprofit Organization or Government Agency Registration - $149.00

Registration includes a six foot rectangular table, two chairs, a white table cover, meals, and parking validation for two (2) representatives of your organization. Additional representatives may be accommodated for an additional $30.00 fee per representative, which covers meals and parking validation.

Access to electricity is available, but not always in close proximity to your table. Employers are REQUIRED to bring their own extension cords, if needed.

Interview Day Package
In additional to participating in the career fair, employers are invited to participate in next-day interviews. All interviews are held in the Ohio Union.

Interview Day Registration - $225.00

Registration for interview day is facilitated through the career fair registration. Fees for include one six foot rectangular table and two chairs. Meals, beverages, and parking validation for two (2) employer representatives are also included. ONE additional interview table is available to each employer for a $50.00 fee. This additional fee does not include parking validation or meals for additional recruiters.

Employers are responsible for creating their own interview schedules.

Interviews must be completed by 4:30pm.


Refund Policy
No refunds for this event will be granted after January 13, 2020.

Should inclement weather or another situation beyond the control of the Arts and Sciences Center for Career and Professional Success or The Ohio State University cause the closure of the Ohio Union (the event venue), all participating organizations will be granted a refund of their registration fees. Because the university rarely closes during severe weather conditions, you are encouraged to call the Ohio Union (614-688-4636) should there be inclement weather on an event date. 


Shipping Display Materials
For your convenience, displays and recruiting materials may be shipped prior to the career fair. Please note that the Ohio Union manages its own shipping and receiving process, and that, due to limited storage, materials cannot be accepted more than two (2) days prior to the event. 

Please note that your registration fees cover delivery of ONE package to the Ohio Union before the event. Additional packages may be shipped for $10.00 per package. You will receive a separate invoice after the career fair for any shipping and drayage charges accrued.

Directions and Parking
The Ohio State University Spring Career Fair is held at the Ohio Union (building 161 on the campus map, at the corner of 12th and High Street). Employers may park in the Ohio Union South garage, building 288, adjacent to the event facility.

Travel directions from the airport and central highways are located here.

Upon arrival at the Ohio Union South parking garage, employer representatives should take a white spitter ticket at the gate. Registered representatives will receive a parking validation voucher to be used upon exiting the garage after the event.

Please note that, due to budget constraints, parking validation will be provided ONLY to registered recruiters. Unregistered recruiters who attend the event must cover their own parking expenses.

2020 Summer Internship and Opportunity Fair

This event features a wide variety of corporate, nonprofit, and government employers seeking Ohio State candidates for summer internships, volunteer opportunities, part-time and full-time summer jobs, and other resume building experiences. Students who are interested in pursuing resume-building experiences for careers in business-related areas, nonprofit management, sports and recreation, education, and other areas are encouraged to attend.  The date of the Summer Internship and Opportunity Fair is February 26, 2020 from 1:00pm - 5:00pm.

Information for Students

The Summer Internship and Opportunity Fair targets undergraduate students interested in obtaining a resume building opportunity for Summer Term 2020. Employers are excited to connect with you and discuss available internships, volunteer opportunities, and part-time work in the following areas:

Business-related functions
For example: communications, advertising, public relations, marketing, retail management, sports management, and finance/financial services

Nonprofit management
Organizations represent a variety of focus areas including the arts, healthcare, social services, women’s issues, and others

Summer and recreation camp counseling and management
Summer day camps and resident camps will be in attendance as well as other recreational sports organizations

No pre-registration is required for students, but you are required to present a valid BuckID on the day of the event. You are also encouraged to prepare for the fair by having your resume reviewed. Target Attendees
This event targets undergraduate students seeking internships, volunteer opportunities, part-time and full-time summer employment, and other resume building opportunities for Summer 2020. Candidates who attend this event seek to gain exposure to business-related functions, nonprofit organization management, and summer and recreational camp counseling and management.

Private Sector Employers (51 Employees or above) - $625.00
Private Sector Employers (1-50 Employees or above) - $275.00
Government and Nonprofit Employers - $149.00
OSU Offices/Departments - $75.00

Your registration includes a 6' table with tablecloth, two chairs, advance shipment of ONE package, and parking for two representatives of your organization. It also includes beverages and light snacks throughout the day, and a brief company profile and position descriptions in the guidebook for students. Should you wish to send more than two representatives, there is a $30.00 charge per additional attendee, which covers parking, beverages, and snacks.

It does not cover your costs for the Ohio Union to receive/store additional packages. You will be invoiced separately following the event for any additional shipping and drayage charges accrued. You must pre-arrange for your packages to be picked up after the fair and prepare shipping labels ahead of time. Due to limited storage, packages cannot be accepted more than two (2) business days prior to the event. Additional charges will be applied to materials shipped and held more than two days before the event.
