Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Brain Imaging (CCBBI)

The Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Brain Imaging (CCBBI) is housed in the basement of the Psychology Building and has a Siemens 3T Trio magnetic resonance imaging Total Imaging Matrix (TIM) system with all the necessary equipment to carry out both structural and functional imaging studies.

Established in 2011, CCBBI is one of only a handful of neuroimaging facilities in the country attached to an academic institution and dedicated to the study of brain mechanisms of individuals' cognitive capacity and subjective well-being, as well as dysfunctions of these brain mechanisms in normal aging and mental disorders.

In the CCBBI, undergraduates have unprecedented access and opportunities to gain experience in neuroimaging and conduct brain imaging research with the leading brain science/brain imaging experts in the nation.

Staffing includes a full time MRI physicist, a facility specialist, an MRI technologist and a part-time administrative assistant.

With access to CCBBI, students can conduct research at a state-of-the-art neuroimaging facility #ASCDaily
