Hopkins Hall Gallery

A part of the Arts Initiative, Hopkins Hall Gallery is the venue for a range of faculty, student, departmental and specially curated exhibitions and programs. Located within Hopkins Hall in the midst of the university’s Arts District, the gallery showcases the work of students, faculty and established artists and functions as a dynamic learning space where outstanding exhibition and curatorial development can take place. Surrounded by walls of glass and natural light, this venue presents a diverse array of exhibitions that inspire collaboration, discussion and growth among the university community.

Annually, Hopkins Hall Gallery hosts a group exhibition of first year graduate work by students in the Department of Art, a scholarship exhibition in the Department of Art, and work from the Art & Technology area during the Department of Art Open House. Hopkins Hall Gallery opens in the summer for short-run projects during the Hopkins Hall Gallery Summer Series.

Exhibitions are determined and recommended by the Projects and Exhibitions Advisory Committee which meets every 12-18 months to review proposals.
