James White, who graduated with degrees in Earth sciences and atmospheric sciences in 2019, conducted wildfire research in the tundra regions of Alaska and in Nevada's Great Basin National Park.
Alumna Anne Sabol’s research interests have crisscrossed the globe. The zoology graduate has trekked through the Midwest, combed the forests of Fray Jorge National Park in Chile and conducted research in the shadow of two active volcanoes to unlock the secrets of animal behavior.

Seth Lyon is a third-year biochemistry major from Marion, Ohio. His research project involving RNAs won first-place at the 2017 Denman Undergraduate Research Forum. Biochemistry Professor Venkat Gopalan is his research advisor.

Farhad Choksy is a fourth-year senior, majoring in political science. From Irvine, California, Choksy is keenly interested in voter behavior, political psychology and the orle of big data and government. He recently placed first in the Denman Undergraduate Research Forum.
Michael Darcy, from Londonderry, New Hampshire, is a third-year graduate student in Physics Professor Michael Poirier’s Biophysics group. He was a Metro High School Fellow in 2015-16 and expects to get his PhD in three years.
Bethany Wellen from Baltimore, Maryland, is a fourth-year graduate student in Chemistry Professor Heather Allen’s lab. She was a Metro High School Fellow in 2015-16 and expects to get her PhD in 2018.
