Careers in Washington: Getting from OSU to DC
Interested in a career in Washington, DC? You have two exciting opportunities to hear from young Ohio State alumni who have successfully started careers in Washington, DC on Monday, September 16th!
Mikayla Bodey (’17) currently works on Capitol Hill for a member of the US House of Representatives. As a student at Ohio State, Mikayla participated in WAIP and interned on the US Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry.
Abby Vesoulis (’18) is a reporter at TIME Magazine’s DC Bureau, and she interned for NBC Washington during her time at Ohio State.
Both proud Buckeyes, these alumni will be on-campus to share their experience in Washington. There will be a Lunch & Learn, 12-1:30pm in Page Hall 130 (lunch provided); RSVP for lunch here. In the evening, there will be a Panel Discussion: Careers in Washington, 6pm in Page Hall, room 130 (pizza provided).
