Join us for an informal discussion with Arts and Sciences alumnus Grant Schneider (Statistics M.S. & Ph.D., '14) about the path he has taken to arrive where he is in his career! Grant leads the brand new HQ2 in Columbus for Upstart, the leading AI lending platform. Grant has been interested in disrupting the consumer credit market since his father and his wife were both declined for credit cards based on their lack of credit history. He spent the past 5 years working on Upstart’s Data Science team in Silicon Valley building AI models used to extend credit to borrowers left behind by traditional models.
