The Columbus Moving Image Art Review (CMIAR) will host its 40th quarterly local moving image screening event on Friday, Oct. 4 from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Hagerty Hall 180.

CMIAR is a screening event for artists residing in Columbus, Ohio, and surrounding areas. CMIAR was developed by two local moving image artists who wanted to create a way to celebrate local creators of the 7th art to the presentation medium of the cinema house. This screening marks the Columbus Moving Image Art Reviews 10th year Anniversary, as they have been taking place four times a year, showing over 600 works since the fall of 2009.

This event is free and open to the public. CMIAR is sponsored by The Ohio State University Film Studies Program and Nicolettecinemagraphics. Visit our Facebook page to stay up to date on the screening.

Selected works will be announced prior to the screening event.
