Hopkins Hall Gallery presents a showcase of work created by first-year MFA students from Ohio State’s Department of Art. Consummate Love, representing an ideal relationship that people strive toward, stresses the importance of translating the components of love into action. As newcomers to a space — country, city or institution — we look for meaningful connections with which we can build a network that fabricates a community. Responding to both the pleasures and confines of a relationship with a new space, the exhibition offers a view of the beginning phase of a collective experience.
Featured artists include Ashley Browne, Christian Casas (artwork pictured here), Brianna Gluszak, Amber Hall, Miranda Holmes, Jihyun Lee, Aaron Peters, Armando Roman, Lydia Smith, Brett Taylor, Koen Vrij and Bradley Weyandt.
