In addition, according to research from the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), oral/written communication skills are one of the Critical Career Readiness Competencies that college graduates need proficiency in, to be prepared for the modern workforce. This Development Academy will help students develop these much needed skills! During this session you will: Gain an understanding of the purpose and structure of each Development Academy session. Become familiar with the Career Competencies employers are seeking. Identify the characteristics of an effective communicator. Understand the qualities needed to be considered an effective communicator.
