Are you also someone who wants to better understand the challenges your female peers face when working in a male-dominated field? This 7-week Development Academy, presented by the College of Arts and Sciences Career Success, offers opportunities to learn from women who have achieved success by overcoming barriers and are working to eliminate gender stereotypes in all industries. Network with your peers and learn from leaders whom have gone before you! Other Thursday lunch sessions include: Week #1: Feeling Empowered in the Workplace (Thursday, Jan 30th) Week #2: Using Your Character Strengths (Feb. 6th) Week #3: Being a Minority in a Majority Environment (Feb. 13th) Week #4: Sexism in the Workplace (Feb. 20th) Week #6: Work/Life Balance (Mar 5th) Week #7: Affirmation of Self & Others (Mar 26th) Please register for this event on Handshake: Week #5: Salary Negotiation (Feb. 27th) If you have a Disability and rely on a screen reader or the keyboard for access to your computer you will experience difficulty using the Handshake application.
