Due to the depth and breadth of your education YOU, the Arts and Sciences major, are a hot commodity for these organizations. What we've found, however, is that many Arts and Sciences majors dismiss opportunities with management consulting firms because a) they feel they aren't qualified or b) they don't even know what consultants do. This Arts and Sciences Development Academy, The World of Management Consulting, is designed specifically for you! Through this five-week academy you'll learn more about the field of management consulting directly from professionals in the field! You'll hear from a variety of professionals from such firms as McKinsey, Accenture, Front Health, Greystone and Deloitte. Students are encouraged to attend all five sessions of the Development Academy but that is not a requirement. You may pick and choose which sessions to attend based on the topic, but do note that seating will be limited in each session. We do ask that students register separately for each session they are interested in. Overview of Week #3: Friday, February 21 During week #3 of the academy we will be joined by professionals from both McKinsey and Front Health who will talk with participants about case interviews. What are they? How do they work? How can students succeed when presented a case interview? Students will also learn about the MECE problem solving method, which stands for Mutually Exclusive, Collectively Exhaustive.
