All Day
18th Ave Library Research Commons

Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Event Host: Middle East Studies Center

We are hosting a forum on water research at Ohio State to form connections and facilitate multi-disciplinary team projects. We are seeking to build a research community which will draw together multiple perspectives on issues pertaining to water resources, and the role of water in human societies.  The forum will familiarize you with current research interests at Ohio State in departments such as Anthropology, Geodetic Engineering, and many others, and will entail a facilitated discussion session in order to spark projects and identify avenues for support and funding. We are currently seeking an exciting keynote, as well, and could use your input.

The whole program will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, February 8, 2019. Research Commons (#340, Colloquia space), 3rd floor, 18th Avenue Library 175 W. 18th Avenue Columbus, OH 43210 We will provide lunch to those who register.

Please begin considering the following question to spark creative thinking at the forum:

What if the Middle East had the capacity to solve the global water crisis?
