Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness meditation involves the cultivation of present-moment awareness within a framework of non-judgment and acceptance. In this webinar, Ruchika Prakash, director of the Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Brain Imaging, will introduce attendees to the definition of mindfulness, its key facets, and her latest research on this topic. Dr. Prakash will also facilitate an introductory mindfulness practice during this webinar, ending the session with an open Q&A.
