Scholar in Residence Teresa Fiore, Inserra Chair in Italian and Italian American Studies at Montclair State University, will give a talk drawing on her book Pre-Occupied Spaces: Remapping Italy's Transnational Migrations and Colonial Legacies, in which she links Italy's long history of emigration around the world to its colonial history and the contemporary transnational migrations towards it.
