Event Host: ASC Career Success
The Undergraduate International Studies Program and the Arts and Sciences Center for Career and Professional Success are hosting, Life Beyond Degree: International Studies, a two-part series planned exclusively for international studies majors and minors.
Join us Thursday, February 21st from 5:30-7:00pm in 150 Cunz Hall for Life Beyond Degree International Studies, Part 2: Mix and Mingle with International Studies Alumni (LBD). This is your opportunity to mingle with alumni during a casual yet professional speed networking session. You will connect with multiple alumni who will answer your questions about career preparation, offer insight about career paths and share how they transformed their degree into a career. Come prepared to enjoy light refreshments and beverages while engaging with alumni!

- Maggie Rochon, Account Executive/Outreach Specialist at DCG Communications (PR firm in Washington, DC)
- Maggie provides creative and strategy support to a variety of federal agencies communications and outreach efforts, including the Department of Defense, US Department of Veterans Affairs and the US Census Bureau. In 2015, Maggie graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Political Science, focusing in international relations, and International Studies with a Security and Intelligence concentration.
- Mark Sandel, Intelligence Analyst at Global Tel Link (GTL) (A Virginia-based private contractor)
- Mark currently investigates narcotics trafficking and conducts digital forensic extractions and analysis. Mark graduated from OSU in 2016 with a BA in International Studies and minors in Social Psychology and Farsi.
