Zoom’s breakout rooms will be used to facilitate meaningful connections in a small and informal “speed dating” style format. Virtual "speed dating" rounds will provide you with a great opportunity to chat one on one or in small groups with alumni to gain insight about career paths and gather how they transformed their degree into a career. Alumni Guests: Autumn Glover, Government Affairs and Community Relations Consultant / President, PACT, Wexner Medical Center / Ohio State Office of Government Affairs Autumn Glover, is an urban planner passionate about the intersection of race, place and health. She has worked at Ohio State and Wexner Medical Center for more than ten years in progressive leadership roles including strategic planning, community and local government partnerships. In addition to a bachelor of arts degree in Political Science, she holds a Master of City and Regional Planning and Master of Public Policy and Management from The Ohio State University. Currently, she serves in a dual role with Wexner Medical Center and Partners Achieving Community Transformation (PACT). She leads multiple civic and community engagement projects for the medical center, including the development of a prevention focused healthy community center and an enterprise-wide health equity and anti-racism strategy. She is a founding staff member of PACT, currently serving as President of the nearly ten year old nonprofit “community quarterback.” PACT is a nonprofit focused on the disruption of intergenerational poverty and the creation of a mixed-income community through strategic program and project investments, with an emphasis on housing, education, economic impact and health. She is responsible for the design and implementation of PACT’s award-winning community engagement process and the development of the PACT Blueprint for Community Investment. This work resulted in more than $220 million dollars of program and capital investments including $30 million in HUD Choice Neighborhoods Planning and Implementation grants. She teaches in Ohio State’s John Glenn College of Public Affairs and serves the Columbus community as a board member and volunteer through a number of organizations. Originally from Toledo, OH, Autumn lives in Columbus with her husband and daughter. Priya Jindal, founder of Nextpat Graduated from the Ohio State University in 2006 with B.A.s in Political Science and International Studies. Following that she volunteered in India for one year working on political party transparency and accountability. Upon returning to Ohio, Priya worked with the Ohio Legislative Service Commission while preparing for the LSAT. Ultimately, she followed a different path, pursuing an interest in international development with the Urban Institute in DC. However, upon working in the sector and contrasting it with her volunteer experience, she chose to pursue work with State Department instead. Priya has been with the government for about 10 years, but also recently started a private enterprise focused on supporting individuals returning to their passport country through a reorientation seminar, workshops, and coaching. Pursuing her passion part time while working full time and being recently married with plans to move back overseas has required good communication, clear goal setting, and acknowledgement of opportunity costs and priorities. Skills that have developed over time and continue to be critical in her life. Matt Kaido, Legislative Liaison for Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose From Zanesville, Ohio and is a 2014 graduate of The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Political Science. He has worked as a Staff Assistant to former Congressman Pat Tiberi and as a Policy Analyst for the U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee. Matt currently works as a Legislative Liaison for Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose and serves on the Ohio State Department of Political Science Advisory Board.   Register Please note that if you require any accommodations such as live captioning or interpretation to fully participate in this event, please contact asccareer@osu.edu.
